My family and Me

Today we continued to learn 

about our family and how our place

in the family is so special.

We introduced the children to

a small model of family.

Dalya played with play dough

and said:

"Look what I made cookie monster."

Ido was putting googly eyes

 and said: "Main."

Levi created "Tatty".

The children love to play with

playdough, and it always amazes us

how creative the children are each day.

Today they created a family.

The children discovered a new material

in the sensory table.

We have pasta and big figures 

as family.

Mayer found a new game too.

Mayer: "Up and down."

Today we stared talking about Thanksgiving.

We set the table with pinecones,

 plates and paint.

We created a coloring process, that each 

child had a different color to dip 

the pine cone in and then switch 

with their friends until we finished rolling them in paint.

Mayer dipped in white.

Ido dipped in pink/yellow 

and then passed to his friend

to dip in a different color. 

Levi dipped in black.

Chana chooses one to start.

We must have glitter.

At circle we talked about family

in general, and about our family.

The children were enthusiastic to

see their families on small blocks.

Dalya found her family, and was 

happy to see herself on the block.

Chana found half of her family.

Levi is showing his friend his 

family.

Mayer hugged his family photo 

and named everyone in his family.

Thank Mayer's family for being the

 fruit family this week!

Mayer showed Levi what

fruit he brought.
