BUILDING MENORAH WITH ABBA

BEST DAY EVER!!!

What an amazing day we had today. 

The children came to class with their fathers,

and our class was ready for them 

to Build and bond.

We prepared different activities in the

 spirit of Chanukah, Dreidels, and Dreidel puzzels

to play together with Abba.

Mayer was excited that Mommy AND Anna came too.

Akiva is threading the candles with cereal 

and Abba is happy to help.

Ido gave his Abba the cookies he made 

especially for him.

After a little boding we were ready to 

create and build our Menorah.

There were many different stones and gems,

colors and a piece of wood.

All fathers were helping and sharing ideas.

Levi and Devorah 

Dalya and her dad chose to paint the Menorah.

Ido and his dad are working together.

Devorah and Abba building a kosher Menorah together.

Chana chose to paint hers with yellow color.

Nissan had Abba help him.

Akiva and Abba got very creative.

Levi and Abba gluing more stones.

Mayer got creative! 

Mendel was excited to create with Abba.

We baked cookies for Abba, wraped them 

beautifully and let them have a taste.

  

We sang our favorite Chanukah song

8 candles burning and the dads helped sing.

We wanted to tell the story of Chanukah,

 but we thought the dads could help 

and it would be more fun.

We asked for volunteers and we had:

Akiva's Abba read the story

Nissan's Abba to be king Antiyochus

Dalya's Abba to be Yehudah Hamakaby.

They acted amazing !!!

Thank you so much the children loved it!

Then we said goodbye to our Abba's,  

and got ready for Shabbat.

We baked challah.

Set the table and brought the Shabbat 

to our class.

Mayer said the brachah for kidush by himself.

Nissan said the brachah on the bread 

hamotze. 

We loved this day so much, come and

visit us again.
