Kinetic sand and more!

Today we made Kinetic sand! We poured just two ingredients in a bowl to create this amazing texture that the children could not get enough of! Everyone wanted to try it out, and once they did, they didn't want to leave it!

We also used droppers to put water color paint on paper towels. The droppers build our fine motor skills, and the paper towel does a wonderful job absorbing the colors as we watch them mix so beautifully!

Taking care of our babies. Dalya left the table for a minute to have a turn with the kinetic sand. Chana came up to Dalya and said, "Your baby is crying. I will hold her until you are done."

The dramatic play experience is so beneficial for children's development in many areas!  It helps children feel powerful in their environment, can give them relief from tension, uses social interaction skills and language skills, and can help them sort out fantasy and reality. Its wonderful to seem them engaging in dramatic play!

Dalya shows her friends how she changes her baby. They watch on.

Today we went to the playground and had so much fun!! There was a nice breeze that made it all the more enjoyable!

\Making sure to stay hydrated! We each take a drink and keep sipping until morah finishes the song so we are sure to drink lots of water!

We started an experiment that we will be watching over the next few days. We put celery into blue and orange water. We want to see what will happen when the celery 'drinks' the water, like flowers do to keep them alive.
