Baking Pumpkin Muffins

Learning about a pumpkin is fun,
but what does it taste like?

Baking with our little friends made
our pumpkin experience more fun.

Today we baked pumpkin muffins.

We set the table with all essential ingredients.

Yesterday we baked the pumpkin until it got soft.

We squashed it to a paste.

Riva added the eggs.

Rafi added the oil.

Mendel added the sugar.

We added more ingredients and lastly
we added the pumpkin.

The children enjoyed mixing the blend.

Then Zalman poured it into a muffin cups.

Our class smelled so good, we waited
  patiently until they were done.

We smelled, touched and....

Tasted... yum.

More nice moments....

Rafi  helped Zalman to clean up the bird seeds from the play dough.

We sang along:

Five Little Pumpkins

One little pumpkin smiling, smiling.
One little pumpkin smiling, smiling.
One little pumpkin smiling, smiling.
One little pumpkin is happy.

Two little pumpkins pouting, pouting.
Two little pumpkins pouting, pouting.
Two little pumpkins pouting, pouting.
Two little pumpkins are grumpy.

Three little pumpkins yawning, yawning.
Three little pumpkins yawning, yawning.
Three little pumpkins yawning, yawning.
Three little pumpkins are sleepy.

Four little pumpkins crying, crying.
Four little pumpkins crying, crying.
Four little pumpkins crying, crying.
Four little pumpkins are sad.

Five little pumpkins laughing, laughing.
Five little pumpkins laughing, laughing.
Five little pumpkins laughing, laughing.
Five little pumpkins are playing.
