Monday With Dreidel

Hanukkah is here and we are so excited
 to celebrate it with friends.

When the children came to school today,
there was a surprise waiting for them.

It was a big dreidel ... special for Hanukkah.
We enjoyed turning and saying good morning.

Riva made candles from play dough and pipes cleaners.

Mendel rolled the play dough into a ball and then stuck a "candle".

We love to see the children collaborate and building together,
B'ait Hamikdash.

Zalman was happy to create  his own ,
and said: "Look".

Today we made a nice project for Hanukkah.
We created a window art, to see through dreidel.

Rafi added tissue paper to a vinyl paper.

Riva and Mendel added the pieces gently, so
their fingers didn`t glue to the vinyl paper.

We put them next to the window and said:
"Wow".

Today first day of Hannukah , we lit the candles
 and blessed it .

...Mendel helped to lit the Menorah.

We counted the candles with a Hanukkah book.
We talked about Hanukkah`s special food.

Sang Hanukkah songs and watched the candles burning bright.

We span the dreidal too.

Happy Hanukkah to my family.
