Last Day Of Hanukkah

Today is the last day of Hanukkah.

Today we enjoyed a little bit more from
 another fun day of Hanukkah.

We used  stamps and ink to create
 a design or a pattern.

Riva was happy when she noticed her stamp was full
of ink  so the shape comes out darker on the paper.

Rafi tried it too.

The children were helping to peel
the mandarins for snack time.

Then Rafi helped to throw the peel in to the bin.

Sensory fun time...

Riva filled the box with bird`s seeds all the way to the top.
When she tried to lift it  up she said:" Heavy".
Then we lift up a small container that was lighter
then the box, she felt the difference between
heavy and light.

Rafi noticed the fan  is spinning just like a dreidel.

Mendel came also to play with his friends.

8th day of Hanukkah, time to light the Menorah.

Riva helped to lit the candles, and we counted
them from 1 to 8.

We asked the children: "what do you see?"

Riva said: "I see a red candle".
Mendel said: "I see a yellow candle".
Rafi said: " Fire".

We talked about Hanukkah special food:

Latckes, donuts and jelly.
"If is it sweet or salty?"
Is it brown or red?"
