Building A Sukkah

Sukkot is in the air and we started building
a sukkah right after Yom Kippur.

We invited the children to explore and create
their own Sukkah.

We used strews and play dough.

Riva was rolled the play dough
into a ball to hold the corners.

Mendel and Rafi were intrigued too.

Mendel added visitors to our Sukkah.

On the mat Riva was building a Sukkah from Legos.

We went for our first walk to look for a Schach.

We brought a scissors and a basket.

Yeah... we found Schach.

Rafi and Zalman covered the Sukkah.

Mendel and Riva invited guests to sit inside.

Rafi tested it to make sure everything was good.

We also made a Sukkah from felt.
The children enjoyed it very much.

Outside the classroom we saw many Lulav's and Etrog's.
We touched and smelled them.

Thank you Riva for being The fruit family this week!
