Baking A Honey Cake For Yom Kippur.

Yom Kippur Is The Holiest Day of The Year.

The children were getting ready for this day.

We start our day by painting on the easel:

"Let's paint a Talit."

Riva was so excited to paint a Talit
because her Daddy has one too.

Mendel and Zalman saw the Talit and painted it too.

Then we set the ingredients to bake
our honey cake.

Riva added the sugar.

Mendel added the flour.

And Rafi added the flour and egg.

We mixed the dough to a nice and smooth consistency,
We took turns mixing.

A moment from our morning circle:

David came to visit us and told us all about
saying "sorry".

Yes David wears a Talit.

HAVE G'MAR CHATIMAH TOVH.
