Shabbat Before Winter Break

Our last Shabbat before winter break

 was so special for the children.

Racing with cars...

Riva came first.

Singing with "all our hearts", that was fun.

Shabbat Shalom !

Peek A Boo

Today we enjoyed a peek a boo activity in the sensory bin of hiding and finding things. 

We hid all sorts of things in the bird seed.

Zalman was excited to see the object he hid  

coming out from the other side.

On the table with slime...

Riva hid caps inside too.

Zalman discovered a snake-let.

He helped Mendel create one too.

Mendel was happy to make one.

Riva sorted colors and she had an interesting technique: 

She held all the red caps in her hand and then put them on

 the mat.

Mendel found a picture of a snowman.

Zalman found wipes and helped clean up.

Rafi looked  for a game he could  play with Zalman.

Today the 4`s  class celebrated the birthday of their "dog".

They came to our class and we all sang birthday

 song to their dog.

They were so happy to celebrate with us!

The children loved the party so much.

All By My Self

Colors sorting is fun activity we love to do it. 

Mendel sorted the caps by adding each one

 to the matching mat.

  

Then he created a train colors, he was so proud of  he did it.

Rafi took care of his baby, covered him and fed him.

While they were playing with Mrs. potato, 

Mendel noticed the hole we added  parts and said:

" Tzedakah box".

Zalman found small glasses of Mrs. potato

 and tried to wear them on his nose and said:

" Mommy".(mommy has glasses too)

The weather was wonderful today, 

we went outside to have a vitamin D...:) 

Rafi and friends were climbing  up on the " house" by themselves.

They were so excited they had  success on that.

We worked on our winter project : " snowman".

Who Want to Make Shabbat With Me?

Everyone wants to do Shabbat with me.

Shabbat is finally here and we are so

 thankful and happy.

Today we celebrated with all our friends in school.

Shabbat with friend always makes us excited.

We sang :"5 little Challah in the bakery".

We counted all Challah they had.

Zalman and Riva were helping to lit the candles.

Mendel was happy to dance with Ima and his sister.

Then we all danced holding to our friends.

We baked Challah and...  Took straight to the oven.

We are happy to help a friend.

We sang: " Hinayi Mah Tov Omanayim".

Time to clean the house:

Riva wanted to clean her bed, Mendel wanted to clean the table.

Then they all went and clean the window.

Set the table and putting white table clout.

Today we all lit the candle, that was very special.

We blessed them.

Mendel blessed the wine, he didn't forget to lift the cup.

And Zalman blessed the bread.

Can You Stretch A Slime?

The children were so excited to find  a new

 material on the table.

They thought it was  play dough, but this 

one is smoother and puffer.

Riva and Rafi tried to make a pattern with different tools.

Then an air bubble appeared, Riva noticed and she decided  to pop it.

We also succeeded stretching it to the sides.

Zalman couldn't believe it he could hold it . 

Riva and Zalman talking about the color of the slime:

"Blue, like Rivas eyes".

We made patterns, hided objects inside

 and had a lot of fun.

Rafi got ready for the winter and worn all scarves to keep him warm.

At circle time we learnt about colors:

Red, blue and yellow.

We matched different objects to the right mat.
