As Zalman played with the rice in an open ended manner, he used his creative thinking.
Yakir practiced his fine motor skills as he poured the rice into the container.
When Peretz hid his hand in the rice, he learned about object permanence.
Hilary watched Peretz and joined him. Playing at the sensory table gave them another
way to engage and interact with each other.
