The Mitzvah of Tzar Baalei Chaim

The Yeladim noticed and insect on the classroom floor.
They put it into the insect house and observed it.

The Yeladim were wondering which insect it was.
They brought it over to the sensory table (which now has
pretend insects in it) to find out.

Benjamin: It looks like this one. It is it. It's a bee.

Zalman wanted to feed the bee rice from the sensory table.
The teacher suggested to find out what the bee likes to eat.

The Yeladim saw the bee eating nectar of the flowers in this book.

It was time to let the bee free.
The Yeladim watched the bee.

A conversation arose of how to treat the bee.
The Yeladim looked in the Torah for guidance.
They saw lots of animals. All animals are Hashem's creations.
It is a mitzvah to be kind to animals and make sure to not cause them harm.

The Yeladim spotted one of the animals they saw
at the nature center - a bald eagle.
