Life Cycle Of A Caterpiller

It's all started with an egg...

Today the children were making 

their own life cycle of a Caterpillar.

We looked inside our Caterpillar book 

and followed the Caterpillar cycle of life.

Devorah glued the egg on a leaf.

She used a white bean.

Mayer glued the chrysalis stage.

He used a pasta.

Nissan glued the cocoon stage.

He used cotton ball and twigs.

Akiva glued the butterfly stage.

He used a pasta.

We create a Caterpillar from a can.

Since he's the hungry Caterpillar we

fed him fruits. 

The children loved it so much!

Moment of sharing ...

Nissan, Devorah and Ido are trying

 to stretch the table cloth, back on the table.

They helped each other and stretched ....

Until.....

Dalya came to help!

Good job friends.

Then they were so happy 

playing in the kitchen.

Painting With Yael

Today the children had a beautiful 

Art lesson with Yael.

They experienced with mono printing technique.

We used paper plates and a pen.

The children made holes with the pen to create a pattern.

Then they roll paint on it 

and stamped the paper .

They made wonderful design.

The children enjoyed using paint using their hands.

Yael had a short discussion on colors.

At circle time we put together parts of flower and

 a Caterpillar.

We didn't forget to count while 

we had fun and also danced

 like a butterfly.

Monday Fun Time

Rainy Monday !

During our spring unit we learned 

the symbols of spring.

Blue sky, warm temperatures, growth .... 

The children were confused today

 when we discussed spring.

They all said: " It's not spring it's rainy... look". :)

We started to learned about Caterpillars.

We read a book:

"The very hungry Caterpillar".

Dalya made a big breakfast for the Caterpillar.

Then everyone wanted to help too.

Counting in the sensory table.

Mayer and Akiva showed their favorite car:

Akiva liked the ambulance and Mayer liked the fire truck.

Mendel counting caps.

 

 

Mayer and Akiva were our snack helper,

they peel the clemintines gently and with care.

Devorah wanted to make a Caterpillar, 

so we made a new green play dough.

Chana planted a flower in the garden.

Nissan made food for the Caterpillar.

We raced with our cars but being careful.

At circle time we talked about spring and the animals

 who woke up from their hibernation, like the bear...

We also put together the parts of a flower.

Ido and dalya laying like the Caterpillar.:)

We even brushed our teeth.

Shabbat With Friends

Shabbat party with friends,

after Pesach and the children 

were happy to follow our 

Shabbat routine.

The children noticed the Shabbat table,

set with candles and kiddish cup.

Ido did the bracha on the bread,

and Nissan did a bracha on the wine.

Then they sang Shabbat song:

"Shalom Alychem"

Everyone was so happy celebrating

 Shabbat together.

Dalya kept counting with threading beads:

1,2,3,4...

We finished decorating our beautiful butterfly's.

We loved how they came out.

We rolled the Challah dough, the children 

had fun and created shapes such as:

Basketball, sneak, flower...

The children missed our Shabbat routine

we had Shabbat songs :

"Hene ma tov umanayim"

Shabbat train moved to the sound of:

"Hashem Malach".

We danced , and danced .... they loved it 

and missed it so much.

Shabbat party our friends "went" to the store

and bought many things in honor of Shabbat.

We made a special meal .

Chana is the Shabbat Ima , she lit the candles

Then she shook her friend hand saying:

"Shabbat Shalom Levi, Shabbat Shalom Mayer...."

Ido was Aba of Shabbat

and picked up the cup.

All our friends did the same.

Levi was Aba of Shabbat too 

and blessed the bread.
