Shabbat Shalom Little Artists

Shabbat Shalom Little Artists!

It was a great week for the children.
They learnt, created and were inspired from
their art pieces and others in school.

We are so proud of you little artists,
you created beautiful arts.

Before Shabbat we decorated
 our challah bag with joy.

Making Graggers

Havah Nareeshah Rash Rash Rash
Barashnim.....

The children used their fine motor skills
to make a gragger for Purim.

We set the table with Popsicle sticks, paint, lentils
and plastic egg shell.

The children filled 2 half's of the
egg shell with lentils, and glued it
 together with the popsicle sticks.

After it dried we dip it in a cup full
 of multicolored paint...

The children enjoyed the process of
making graggers .

Our graggers are not ready yet but....
we loved how they came out.
Stunning is the right word to describe them.

Yesterday the children painted coffee paper filters
and water colors for part of our graggers.

Now we just need to put them together.

A Special Day at the Children's Art Gallery

We were so excited to see the
Art Gallery today, with all our
art pieces presented to our families.

The children enjoyed looking around
 at the different art work
which their friends in school made so
 beautifully.

Thank you grandparents and parents for coming out today
to view our art pieces.

In class parents/grandparents made
a silhouette of their child.

They came out beautiful! What a lovely memento.

Our class also took an opportunity to view the displays in the Art Gallery.

Our friends held hands as we walked around the gallery.

The children saw candles and they pointed to it and said:
"Candles , Shabbat".

Here they saw a cave and a bear inside
they remembered that the bear is hibernating
 now.

Here they recognized their very own art work
 and enjoyed looking at themselves
 in the documentation.
"Here I am", " This is me".

Nissan even remembered the artist's name as we admired our mosaics and said it out loud:
"Gaudi".

More from our wonderful day:

Getting ready for Purim...

Nissan is making a car garage.

Chana and Ido are making a farm with a cow.

It was a fabulous day outside! The children
 colored with chalk outside.

What a wonderful day!

Purim Lets Paint A Mask

Happy Monday !

The children were excited to find new items
in their class that relay fit to our Purim spirit.
We have new hats, very fancy for our
little friends.

Mayer, Chana, Levi and Nissan immediately
felt like Queen Esther and King Achashverosh.

Our little artist painted today with
so much energy...a mask.

Lets paint a mask.

We made a new play-dough, it came out soft and blue.

The children created nice palaces.

Ido and Mayer noticed they have same same ...boots.
Our other friends in class mentioned they have boots too:
Chana: " I have red and brown."
Devorah: "I have pink".
Nissan: "I have brown and blue".
Dalya:" I have pink".
Levi: " I have blue".

The children used their skills and began
to have a conversation with their friends.
They were interested to hear what their
 friends had to say.

Thank you Chana, and your family for being
 the fruit family this week.
Our friends like bananas very much.
