Exploring With Friends

Today the children were exploring 

different things in our classroom.

Mayer discovered that we have magnets,

 in our sensory table and he can magnet to a can.

It was fun for everyone,

 they came to see and tried it too.

We also experimented with tissue paper,

we used a water technique to pass the

 color from the tissue paper to our

 white page.    

Levi and Ido sorted colors together.

Then Devorah came along to help.

Mayer made a racing cars .

Chana matched the pictures.

The children loves the tracing lines in the sand.

Today it was very rainy and we stayed in to play,

the children played with the balls in a creative way.

For Shavuot holiday we continue to learn 

about giving the Torah on Mount Sinai.

This is the way we brush our teeth...

Chana and Devorah noticed they have same same brush.

So does Mayer and Ido.... same same.

Hebrew Letters In The Torah

Shavuot is all about the Torah.

The children learned of the 

Tablets of  Covenant.

We are working on tracing a line 

and follow with our finger.

 Levi likes to cover the shape and uncover it.

Chana traced the line under the blue sand.

" Lochot Hbrit".

Mendel and Dalya found something common:

"We did it ... beans".

Devorah traced the line with beans.

Chana keep the beans closer.

Ido likes to put the beans inside.

The children being very busy playing with friends.

Akiva made a train.

Mayer thought it is nice to practiced colors... well done Mayer.

Then Mayer built a trail with bricks

 and everyone tried walk on it. 

The children loved it and took turns so nicely.

Today we also had a lesson with Yael in our Art studio.

Today we learned how to print with leaves.

One leaf stayed on Dalya's hand :

" A butterfly...".

Learning about Shavuot is exciting.

We know Hashem gave us the Torah on Mount Sinai,

it is a present for us.

We asked the children:

" What is inside the Torah?

The children answered : " Hebrew letters", "Mitzvot".

The children knows their first Hebrew letter.

Then they matched their own letter to the letters on the mat.

It was amazing to see the children 

really familiar Hebrew letters.

What Happened On Shavuot ?

Shavuot is almost here, and 

the children are getting from one

 excitement to the next. 

The children started learning 

\all about Shavuot on our new unit.

Happy to meet our friends ... happy Monday.

The children were drawing on the sand

 with their finger trying to write letters. 

We also started our Shavuot project.

Stamping our own first Hebrew letter.

Welcome back Mayer :)

Dalya and Devorah loved the

 selections of books in class.

Ido and Dalya wondering who will go down first.

At morning circle we asked the children:

What do you love or like that H'ashem created?

Levi said: "The cat."

Nissan said: "The Shema, davening."

Dalya said:" Princess." 

Devorah said:"Rain."

Mendel said:"Aba."

Mayer said: " The tiger."

Ido said: "Challa."

Outside fun time.

"Making soup."

" Cleaning."

Inviting friends into our house.

At circle time we started learning about Shavuot and the Torah.

We used holiday concepts like:

Mount Sinai, the ten commandments....

The children learned that in 

our Torah there is many mitzvot ,

like say :" Shema."
