In preschool the children are learning how to interact with their peers, gaining social skills for future relationships. To model social skills we invite puppets Dina and David to show us what to do.
Today we talked about what we do when we want something that someone else has.
Instead of grabbing, we ask, "Please can i have a turn". Then we wait 2 minutes until it's our turn.
The children are practicing turn taking throughout the day.
