Saying Thank You!

Today at circle time we practiced saying 'thank you'. 

We passed around various fruits and said 'thank you' when we received them.

We also brainstormed other things we can say thank you for.  We said thank you Hashem for the rain so the plants can grow.  Then we had a look at our plant to see how it's growing.

Walk in the Rain

Today we went for a walk in the rain!  

Looking out the window, the looked rain inviting to play, so we put on our coats, zipped up and went out to get wet!

We get a feel of the gentle rain.  Nechama Leiba sees if she can taste it.

Sara lets the rain fall on her face.

We continue walking, splashing in the little puddles.

On the way, very red berries catch our attention.

All the children want to hold a branch.

When we get back we get straight to work picking off the berries.

This job uses our strong fingers!

David gets a feel of our red berry collection!

Pumpkin Painting

Today we cut open little pumpkins and used them to paint!

Sara helps scoop out the seeds.  Yakir helps mix the paint.

The children came up with different ways of using the pumpkin stamps to create beautiful art!

Today in the kitchen:

Ella sets out spoons and forks, while David sets out the napkins one by one.  

Peretz builds a 'cave' for the animals, so 'they can't get out.'

Today we read out Yakir and Gabey's Thanks Giving plans.  

We can't wait to hear everyone else's plans!

It's a Birthday Day!

Today we have our very first birthday celebration...Ella, Eden and David turn 2!

In honor we bake birthday cupcakes.

Every one gets a turn to pour in an ingredient and mix the batter.

After nap time we have a fantastic birthday celebration!

  With birthday crowns and big sister Hanna! And Mummy and Daddy too!

We see how little the triplets were when they were just born.

And how big they are now!

We sing happy birthday, and then we enjoy our home baked birthday treats!

Cultivating Gratitude

Today at circle time we had some time with our 'Mother Blocks' and talked about all the kind things she does for us:  cooks our food, makes our lunch buys our clothes and takes such good care of us.  

The children hold Ima/Mama/Mummy and give her hugs.  We say 'thank you for all you do'.

Ella, David and Eden hold their mama together.

We had a special guest story teller, Sara's Bobby come to read us a story this week.  We heard Brown Bear, Brown Bear, which the children really enjoyed.  Thank you Bobby for a great story!

This Weeks Best

Here are some great moments from the week:

Sun shining, we had a lovely play outside today.  Yakir fine tunes his kicking skills. 

Chaya climbs and gets up!

Yakir fills a raisin container with rice.  "Shake it.  Rice," he says.

Peretz attempts to pour rice using a bowl.  Most land back in the tray.

He then uses a spoon more successfully to fill the container.
