Nature Walk

The children used their sense of touch and sense of sight.

We set the table with plastic bags.

Each bag were filled with different materials such as:

Flour, shaving cream, sand and paint.

The bags were also had a pumpkin seeds and leaves... 

The children were excited to revile them. 

Puffy...

Bumpy...

Smooth...

In The sensory table we set items to create a pumpkin patch.

Zalman and Mendel were saying to each other:

"I feed the chicken".

"Bak..bak..bak..go inside",

"Oh look at that", said Mandel.

"Another chicken" , "I put bak.. bak.." 

Zalman was shifting beard seeds from one cup to the other.

We went on a nature walk to collect leaves 

and Fall symbols.

We collected beautiful leaves from  different  colors...

...Brown, green, yellow and red.

When we came back to our class we sorted the leaves by colors.

Mendel and Zalman were enjoying building a big tower.

Mendel said: " It's tall".

Riva said: "It's a baby".

Fall Is Here

Fall is here!

We started our day with an invitation to play to 

create a fall tree.

Zalman and Riva created a forest.

Riva helped Mendel and Zalman add more branches.

Mendel said:" Like this".

Riva and Zalman collected pine cones.

We painted Fall with green and orange, in our unique way.

Zalman and Mendel were curious about what Riva was doing.

Mendel used 2 brushes.

Playing together creating big towers. 

The children learned about Fall.

We used scarves as leaves, and we also matched the fall colors:

Red, green and yellow.

We asked the children to point on fall colors.

Mendel pointed on Yellow.

Thank you Zalman for being our fruit family this week.

We enjoyed the bananas today, it was tasty.

Kabbalat Shabbat And Saying Goodbye to the T'shrei Chagim

WHAT A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON!

Yesterday we said goodbye to all T'shrei Chagim.

The children choose a holiday item to say goodbye to.

Rafi disassembled the Sukkah.

Mendel said goodbye to the Sofar.

Zalman said goodbye to the apples.

We were waiting the whole week for Shabbat to come and it finally came.

We decorated our Challah bag with colorful stickers. 

The children used their fine motor skills.

Riva help Mendel and added a sticker to his bag.

Zalman was looking a place to put our Shabbat candles.

Finally Zalman put them on the kitchen table

 with all Shabbat items.

Time for baking Challah...

Our Shabbat train.

Mendel and Riva said the Brachah on the bread.

Kabbalat Shabbat we lit the candles and blessed the wine.

SHABBAT SHALOM !

Making a Play Dough Together

The holidays seasons is behind us.

We have been celebrating and had lot of fun.

The children made play dough,

We chose the color purple for it.

Rafi added the salt.

Mendel added the oil.

 

We were excited to feel it and play with it right away.

Mendel used the cutter and made a butterfly, 

a car and fish and then named them.

Rafi put people inside our Sukkah.

That was fun...:)

Rafi checked the weather and looked up to the sky.

Mendel built a tower and put the animals on top and said:

"Look at that it's so happy".
