I`m So Glad Shabbat Is Here

We are so happy that Shabbat is

 right around the corner.

Today the children were in "hugging mood".

Riva, Zalman and Rafi were excited 

to give hugs to their friends....

As good morning, hello :).

We decorated our Challah bag.

Set the table for Shabbat... we needed candles.

We rolled the dough into a Challah. 

Everyone carried the tray all the way to our oven.

They were very gentle and walked very slowly.

Time for:" Hinei Mah Tov Umanayim"

We swing to the sides holding our friends` shoulders.

Fun time before Shabbat party.

Riva lit the candles.

we blessed  the candles. 

We had kidush.

Then everyone wanted to bless the bread.

 

Thank you Aba's for coming yesterday 

and helped the children created these

 beautiful Hanukkyout.

Hanukkah With Aba

This week the children learnt all about Hanukkah holiday.

We were so busy making everything ready for special event 

of : " Building a Menorah With Dad".

We baked cookies especially for our dads.

We wanted them  beautiful and tasty.

But first we made the dough with some friends in school.

We asked the children : " What do we need for the cookies dough?"

Everyone helped and added a different ingredient.

Finally we made the dough and made a shape of a stare, menorah and dreidel.

One pinch of sparkly sugar. 

We added a nice note and wrapped it.

We enjoyed matching the part of dreidel.

 

 Wonderful moment:

Mendel was playing with a car. 

Then Riva came and asked: " I want it!"

Mendel offers Riva the train.

Mendel didn't want to, but he decide to shared with Riva.

 Today we had our building a menorah with dad.

We created a nice menorah from plain break.

We wear our Hanukkah crown.

Thank you all for coming and built 

beautiful menorah together.

We danced  Hanukkah songs and held hand`s  friends.

Hanukkah And Bait Hamikdash

Today the children helped decorate

our holiday board by hanging up pictures 

 of Hanukkah symbols. 

Riva organized the figures in our sensory table in a circle,

and some dreidels specially for Hanukkah.

We worked on our invitations for the coming up event:

BUILDING AND BONDING WITH DAD.

We will build

a Menorah together!

We enjoyed dancing  Hanukkah songs using scarves. 

We pretend to be a burning candle on the menorah.

As we learnt in the beginning of the story of Hanukkah,

Riva and Mendel buit the Bait Hamikdash.

Zaslman added candles to his Hanukiyah.

Playing time ... always fun.
