Happy Birthday Nechama Leiba!

Today we had a birthday celebration!

Nechama Leiba turns 3!

 She feels very happy and excited.

   Who is the birthday girl?  Nechama Leiba raises her hand.

  We look at baby photos and see how much Nechama Leiba has grown.

 Nechama Leiba gives her friends a coin for Tzedakah.

 We sing and dance...

 ...and give Nechama Leiba her present.

Then we have birthday treats for dessert.  Yum! Yum!

Hammering & Stamping

Today we experienced more working for Paraoh in Mitzrayim.

The children use their muscles to bang nails.

 Outside, the children use 'bricks' to 'build' pyramids.  

Stamping skills are used here.

Building Pyramids

Today we started talking about Pesach.  

The Jewish people worked hard in Mitzrayim building pyramids for Paraoh.

We build pyramids with cups.

 

 

Good bye Purim

Today at circle time we said goodbye to Purim.

The children remembered what they did on Purim,
Perez: "I had a hamantash"

Chaya: "I got one in Shul"

Nechama Leiba: "I have Purim in Shul"

Chaya: "I had a hamantashen".

The children wave and say goodbye to the Purim characters, the Megillah story and all the dressups.

We were feeling sad, until Sara reminded us that Pesach is coming!

We went on a walk today and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

 

 We noticed two circles in the ground.  A big one and a smaller one.

Purim Red Carpet

Today the children walked down the red carpet all dressed up in their Purim costumes!

 Peretz is a dressed up as a present.

 Sara is dressed up as a princess.

 Nechama Leiba is dressed up as Queen Esther.

 Marnie is dressed up as a fancy lady.

 Morah Sarah is dressed up as a flight attendant.

 Morah Osnat is dressed up as Elsa.

The queens dance!

Shabbat in the Sun

Today we celebrated Shabbat in the sun.

We sing our songs and prepare for Shabbat:

 We walk to the Shabbat table...

..and set it 

 We light the candles 

and welcome Shabbat!
