This week the Yeladim observed blossoms on trees and bushes. To enrich and deepen their observations of spring, images of two of Monet's paintings were brought in to the classroom.
Here are some of the Yeladim's comments about the art pieces.
Benjamin: I see plants
Zalman: It's a garden, where's the people?
Benjamin: I see pink
Peretz: Red
Hilary: Red and pink
The Yeladim chose colors that they saw in the paintings and created their own master pieces.
Recorder below are the Yeladim's comments as they painted.
Zalman: I'm making a garden.
Benjamin: I made a pickle
Look, a circle, an oval.
