Pipe Cleaners & Holes

The children use fine motor skills to thread pipe cleaners through the holes.

Lia uses the scissors to cut the playdough.

The children hold a shape as they walk back to the classroom.

Liam scoops sand with a spoon.

Daniella helps sweep the sand that spilled. 

Happy Birthday Hanna!

Today we celebrate Hanna's Birthday!

Hanna sits on the birthday chair.

We see how little Hanna is when she was born, and how big she has grown.

We sing happy birthday.

   

Hanna help give out the coins for Tzedaka.

We dance.

And we have yummy birthday treats!

Shofar Provocation

Today Morah places shofars at the playdough table.

"What is this?" asks Ella.

Sender pushes it in the playdough.

At circle time, Morah takes out a real shofar.  We pass it around.

Mendel feels the smooth surface.

Daniella puts it to her mouth and blows inside.

Morah asks, "can we blow the Shofar?"

Morah blows the Shofar and we hear a sound!

Red Collage

Today the children create a collage using red items.

This is a two step process of applying glue to paper, and then sticking a piece on it.

Shabbat Party!

Every Friday we invite and celebrate Shabbat with song and play:

We make chicken soup.

Lia puts it on the stove to cook.

We help set the table.

Morah lights the Shabbat Candles.

We cover our eyes and say the Bracha.

We have yummy grape juice and enjoy delicious, warm Challah.
