What Can We Do For Ima On Mother's Day?

Today we celebrated a special day just for our Moms. 

It's Mother's Day !

What can we do to pamper our Mothers?

A SPA day.

SHABBAT SHALOM.

Symmetrical Butterfly

We are always happy to see a butterflies

flying in the playground.

As we learned about the cycle of  life the Caterpillar,

we noticed it got many colors on his wings

 and it symmetrical. 

The children did a butterfly this way:

First we pour paint on a black construction paper.

Then we moved the paint to the sides.

Fold it to half and tap it.

We opened it and we saw a beautiful and colorful Butterfly.

We also pretended to be a Caterpillar.

We are so excited that mommy is coming for Mother's Day,

and we made things for her.

We set the table and made breakfast.

We baked Muffins...

  Everyone had a turn adding the ingredients.

We can't wait to see you tomorrow.

Can You Pinch The Play Dough?

Today we  focused on our little fingers .

We use fine motor skills to pinch different materials.

Rafi shaped the playdough and mad a Challah.

He pinched the dough.

Zalman tried it too.

Zalman, Riva and Rafi pinched Pompoms gently.

Riva filled the muffens tray with playdough, 

and pinched it to pull it out and to her

 surprised there was a shape of a heart.

Riva also pinched the ends of her Challah.

The children practiced stamping technique,

with sponges.

We loved to stamped and see the texture that came out .

We also practiced gross motor skills.

On our walk today we found a dandelion

 and we tried to blow his leaves away.

We did some Yoga poses.

"A down dog".

"The warrior".

"A tree".

What Can We Do In Honor Of Shabbat?

What can we do in honor of Shabbat?

Shabbat it's on the way we had everything ready.

We decorated a Challah bag with stamps of shapes 

and spring animals like a butterfly, Caterpillar

 and ladybug.

Shaping the Challah dough.

Then the children choose a friend to dance with.

We sang a new song:

"I'm standing in a circle ,

and look around me.

I'm waiting for a friend,

who wants to dance with me?

La.la,la,la...."

Zalman choose Riva.

Mendel choose Rafi.

Shabbat train start rolling...

At the end we sang with shakers.

Today we also made an invitation for  Mother's Day in school.

We Can Count ... Yay

The children practiced their fine motor skills,

by using different things.

Tracing a line, we glued colorful shapes.

Picking up pompoms using Twizzlers.

Mothers day on it's way and we made an invitation.

Rafi noticed Mendel's shirt:"Triangles." 

Riva showed hers: "Flowers".

We followed the life cycle of a Caterpillar.

Zalman saw how it begins as an egg.

Riva showed how small it is with her fingers.

We continued counting up to 10.
