What Can We Do In Honor Of Shabbat?

What can we do in honor of Shabbat?

Shabbat it's on the way we had everything ready.

We decorated a Challah bag with stamps of shapes 

and spring animals like a butterfly, Caterpillar

 and ladybug.

Shaping the Challah dough.

Then the children choose a friend to dance with.

We sang a new song:

"I'm standing in a circle ,

and look around me.

I'm waiting for a friend,

who wants to dance with me?

La.la,la,la...."

Zalman choose Riva.

Mendel choose Rafi.

Shabbat train start rolling...

More from our Shabbat party.

 

At the end we sang with shakers.

Today we also made an invitation for  Mother's Day in school.

Have a Shabbat Shalom.

We Can Count ... Yay

The children practiced their fine motor skills,

by using different things.

Tracing a line, we glued colorful shapes.

Picking up pompoms using Twizzlers.

Mothers day on it's way and we made an invitation.

Rafi noticed Mendel's shirt:"Triangles." 

Riva showed hers: "Flowers".

We followed the life cycle of a Caterpillar.

Zalman saw how it begins as an egg.

Riva showed how small it is with her fingers.

We continued counting up to 10.

Goodbye Pesach

We were so happy to see everyone after Spring break.

The children loved to play with their friend

 and share their creations...

Riva made a flower. 

Rafi found scissors and loved cutting the playdough.

Zalman made a cake.

Who can build the taller tower?

Today the children practiced sorting shapes.

They did it!

Mendel and friends found a fun way to slide.

We all said goodbye to Pesach and brought every 

Pesach item and symbol.

Pesach, see you next year!

Hagadah Of Pesach

The children were happy to see their 

Hagadah of Pesach.

Mendel opened the first page and  he was excited

 to see himself lighting the Shabbat candles, and said:

"Shabbat candles".

As he turned the pages Zalman came and they 

enjoyed together looking at the art work they had made for the Hagadah.

Rafi enjoyed playing in the sensory table with Zalman and Mendel.

Zalman held a frog on his hand.

Mendel held "Baby Moshe in a basket".

Rafi "made" bricks to build the pyramid and said: "Heavy".

WE WISH YOU HAPPY PESACH AND KASHER!

Going Out Of Mitzrayim

The children were ready to go out of Mitzraiym.

Before we could leave we had to bake a Matzah.

We made holes in the playdough with a fork .

We were happy to to live, we invited friends to dance.

 The children decorated the Seder plate.

Today we viewed the Seder plate items.

The children were using all senses to feel the :

Maror, Haroset, Karpas, Egg, Shank Bone, Hazeret.

 

We used sponges to stamp our Haggadah art work.

For the 4 cups of wine we used mirrors and red and purple paint.

We also shared ideas...

Where Is Baby Moshe?🎵

The children have been learning the story of Pesach

and we are getting to know all the characters.

Today we introduced Baby Moshe.

We used different shades of blue paint and put it in a juicer to create the water effect.

They even pured the paint together.

We lifted it gently and the paint smeared

 just like the water in the Nile.

 

We used a stencil for the first time...wow.

Today in circle we used our body parts to catch the butterfly.

Mendel was our plate helper today.

Fun meeting our friends and siblings on the playground!

We were so excited to learn all about Baby Moshe,

Moshe's mommy put him in a basket in the water.
