Landing on the Moon

Today we went in a rocket ship to the moon!
We strapped ourselves in, counted down from 10 and then blast off!

Sender showed us the rocket ship he made.

We saw a picture of an astronaut wearing special mask and clothes.
We noticed the moon looks bumpy and there are no grass or trees.
Sender noticed that it is dark on the moon.

More fun from today:
The slime exploration continues.
Mendel notices big and small stars.

The children talk about what they are doing with the slime, a great way to explore new vocabulary.
Chana, "It's a big one"

Our family photos are finally up and on display!
(pic from Monday)  Dalya points to her family.

Akiva points and names each of his family members.

Ella tells her friends who is in her family.

Marnie shows Ella hers.

Levi strengthens his fingers and fine motor skills as he stretches the rubber band around the poles.

Akiva gives Levi the mitts when he is done playing with them.

Levi is our Torah helper today.

On our way to swimming!
We love holding our friends' hands.

Starry Night Slime!

Today we made starry night slime.

Mendel helped pour in the glue.

We added color to make it look like a night sky.

Ella and sender helped to mix.

We added sparkles.

And the slime is ready to play!

We can roll it.

Cut it.

Stretch it.

Pat it.

Make a snake!

Ps. If you notice it on clothes, vinegar will dissolve it.

More fun from today:

Hannah putting her Mitzvah note on the Mitzvah tree!
Thank you for sending Mitzvah notes today!  The children were so proud!

What did Hashem create on the fourth day?  Marnie holds four fingers.

Sender counts four items in his lunch.

Hannah says,  "This is a moon".
