Posting our Invitations!

Today we posted the invitations to the art gallery!

First the children place a stamp on the envelope. 

Envelopes are hand painted by the children!

Next we go to find the mailbox.

Kayle and Ella find it!

Each child helps to place their envelopes into the mailbox.

Other happenings: 

We did painting today! Look at the joy :)

Marnie builds with magna tiles.

and puts some playdough inside.

Happy to be Back!

We are happy to be back after a long weekend.  The children greet and acknowledge one another upon arrival.  Some even offer hugs :)

Ella sorts the items according to colors.

Sender plays with the new green playdough.

Lia enjoys playing with the new baby diapers.

Ella creates a beautiful design with the rubber bands.

The children ask for music to dance.  They find strings and hold opposite ends and dance in pairs.   All their own initiative!

Feather Art

Today we used a feather and water paint, to create art!

Daniella,"I made a puddle"

Marnie, "I'm making stripes"

We then used a straw to blow the paint!

The children are very proud of their work and enjoy seeing it displayed in the classroom!

Kayle and Mendel built a tall tower together.

Driving cars is so much fun!

Green Finger Painting

Today we did finger painting!

Mendel, "Look what i made!  Circles!"

Kayle, "Hands are green!"  "Aelita paints green like me."  "Grapes are green."

Marnie, "I'm making dots"

Daniella, "My hands are dirty"

At circle time we look at many green things! 

We look outside and see the trees, grass and playground roof and slide are also green!

Building Things

The children are taking an interest in construction and building.

Marnie builds a tall house.

Kayle builds a house for Mommy and one for Kayle.

Here the children collaborate together to build a long wall.

Lia is color matching the beads to the same colored pole.

Ella is stretching the rubber band over the knobs.

Lia prepares food.

Today's easel painting turned out beautifully!  The children are very interested in painting and are creating beautiful art!
