Party in a Bear Cave

Our bear cave is ready!

Marnie places bear in the cave.

Kayle and Marnie bring more animals to the cave.

Marnie helps Kayle squeeze Teddy into the cave.

Sender peaks in to see what's inside.

"Teddy made a poopy", says Kayle.

Ella climbs into the cave.

We talk about having a pop corn party like Bunny and Mouse from Bear Snores On.

How can we pop the corn?

"With your fingers", says Marnie

"In a pot", says another.

We love hearing the popping sound of the kernels.

Back in the classroom, we build a rainbow cave for everyone to fit.

And enjoy our snack right inside with sleeping bear.

"I like this cave", says Mendel.

Bear Caves

Today we talked about bears hibernating in the Winter.

Marnie builds a cave for bear. 

We talk about painting a bear cave.

What color is the bear cave?

"Black", says Ella.

We have a look in the book and see that the cave is white.

"It's snow", says Kayle.

What color is it inside the cave?

"Brown", says Mendel.

We decide to paint the cave brown.

We mix orange and green paint to make brown.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful weather outside today!

Playdough Art

Many beautiful and creative projects were made at the playdough table today.

Kayle uses the muffin tray to distribute the buttons and beads.

Rolling pizza dough with a rolling pin.

Hannah placed muffin liners on the tray.

Kayle  and Lia point to each person in the photos and says their name. 

Seeing photos of themselves painting together with Artist Aelita, creates the connection that they too, are artists!

Ella and Mendel are color matching.

Sender used the tweezers to place a cotton ball in each compartment.

Hannah ate all the orange and left only the peel! 

Doctor Doctor

Today Dr. Ella takes in Mendel as a patient.

Ella: "It's time for a checkup

Now all done.  Again?

Now I'm going to check you

You need some medicine."

Marnie agrees to be Dr. Mendel's patient.

Marnie puts on a glove to change her baby's diaper.

Hannah uses a tissue to wipe her baby's bottom.

Kayle:  "My baby is sleeping," as she covers her baby and puts her to bed.

Other play:

Today the children color match the beads to the correct pole.

Marnie and Netanel work together.

The children love sitting all together at one table to roll their Challah dough.

Lia rolls her Challah and then shapes it.

Daniella: "I made a butterfly."
